The Badge of Honor in the Central Courtyard of the international headquarters includes the founders, all international presidents, and those Delts who have provided extraordinary service to Delta Tau Delta.

Intended to recognize superior chapter performance and operation. Recipients include chapters recognized with the Hugh Shields Award. Typically, the top 20 chapters in the F.A.A.R. grading are included.

Awarded to alumni who have been actively loyal to the Fraternity for at least twenty years, rendered some unusual service to the Fraternity or Division thereof, and evidenced personal characteristics and habits which have been and are "worthy of all acceptance" by the Fraternity and society at large.

Intended to recognize superior chapter performance and operations. It is named for Hugh Shields, Beta Alpha 1926, executive vice president 1930-1965.

Hughes Award for Excellence in Ritual Performance

Hughes Award for Excellence in Ritual Performance

Intended to recognize superior Ritual performance and named for the Hughes family, which has had three of its members serve as international president.

James O Selzer Award

Award for Outstanding Involvement with the Fraternity philanthropy partner, JDRF. Instituted at the New Orleans Karnea in 2014.

James S. Eaton Outstanding Recent Graduate Award

James S. Eaton Outstanding Recent Graduate Award

Intended to recognize recent graduates in good standing who have been alumni for five years or less. Nominees should demonstrate noteworthy career achievement or have rendered a particularly beneficial service to the international Fraternity.

John H. Venable Award

John H. Venable Award

Intended to recognize exceptional academic achievement by a chapter. The award is named for John H. Venable, Carnegie Mellon 1951, former director of academic affairs, in recognition of his dedication to the academic excellence of undergraduate chapters.

John W. Nichols Bridgebuilder Award

John W. Nichols Bridgebuilder Award

Awarded to alumni who have rendered at least three years of outstanding service to the establishment, development, or enhancement of a house corporation.

William J. Fraering Award

William J. Fraering Award

Awarded to younger alumni, typically with 15 years of their graduation, who have rendered at least three years of outstanding service to Delta Tau Delta including, but not limited to, chapter advisors, alumni chapter presidents, house corporation members and division vice presidents.

William L. McLaughlin Award for Heroism

William L. McLaughlin Award for Heroism

Intended to recognize exceptional heroism by members of the Fraternity. It is named for William L. McLaughlin, Ohio Wesleyan 1906, for his exceptional bravery in rescuing victims of an infamous Chicago theater fire in 1906 which resulted in his own death.
