5. Third Party Relationships

Delta Tau Delta has developed relationships with other companies, organizations, and entities (collectively the “Companies”) outside of Delta Tau Delta to provide services to Delta Tau Delta or its members, or to provide you with opportunities to buy products or services offered by Delta Tau Delta or with Companies contractually bound to Delta Tau Delta. These services include such things as operating our website, monitoring site activity, assuring proper use of our trademarks, processing donations and Chapter Supply orders, and maintaining our database. Consequently, we may disclose any of the personal information that we have collected about you to other Companies with whom we have licensing or other contractual agreements, and who perform services, including marketing, management, or other like services, for Delta Tau Delta. (Delta Tau Delta may, on occasion, receive royalties for providing some member information to publicize a vendor service. This information will never include financial information or social security numbers.) Links on this website will allow you to access information about these Companies. For the linked sites, our Privacy Policy does not apply to the information those sites collect. If you choose to use the services of one of these linked sites, you will be providing your information directly to such Companies on the linked site and the terms of their privacy policy will apply. We encourage you to review the separate privacy policies of each site you visit. Delta Tau Delta also has contractual agreements with Omega Financial, LLC (“OmegaFi”). OmegaFi provides financial, fundraising, and communication solutions for fraternities and sororities. One of OmegaFi’s primary services is to collect, maintain, and manage individually identifiable information about chapters, their undergraduate members and new members, their alumni/ae, parents, donors, and friends.

Delta Tau Delta is not responsible for the privacy practices, advertising, products, content of such linked websites, or their collection, use, or security of information by Companies outside of Delta Tau Delta that may be linked to our Websites. If you prefer that we not share personal information about you with Companies outside Delta Tau Delta entities (except information described below under “Other Information Sharing”), you may opt out. That is, you may direct us not to share this information by calling Delta Tau Delta Headquarters at 317-284-0203, or by sending your request via e-mail to delts@delts.org. If you choose to opt out of the sharing of personal information with Companies outside Delta Tau Delta, we will not share any personal information about you. Choosing to opt out of this information sharing will limit opportunities for you to receive membership, product, and service information that may be of interest to you. We may also share personal information about you with entities outside Delta Tau Delta as required by or permitted by law. As examples, we may share personal information to protect against fraud, respond to a subpoena, service your membership records, or based on our good faith belief that it is necessary to conform or comply with the law or is necessary to protect the users of our website or the public.

6. Online Profile Updates and Donations

If you complete the Profile update form and share your personally identifying information, this information will be used only to provide you with more targeted content. We may use your contact information to send further information about our organization or to contact you when necessary. You may always opt out of receiving future mailings; see the "Opt Out" section below.

7. Sending us an Email

You also may decide to send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a Web form that provides us this information. We use personally identifying information from email primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other employees who are better able to answer your questions. We may also use your email to contact you in the future about our programs that may be of interest. We want to be very clear: We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. Except as might be required by law, we do not share any information we receive with any outside parties.

If you sign up for one of our email lists, we will only send you the kinds of information you have requested. We won't share your name or email address with any outside parties.
