How Do I Reserve My Hotel Room?
Call reservations at 800-228-9290 or 757-627-4200 before July 11, 2022. Mention Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia to receive the conference rate. Or click this link to reserve a room.
Room rates are $155 per night plus tax (18.8%) for up to four people. This is a special officer extended to Delta Tau Delta Karnea attendees. Hotel rooms must be reserved by July 11, 2022 to receive this rate. After that date, rooms may not be available and if rooms are available, they may not be available at the special Delt rate. Don’t delay in reserving your room(s). Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m.
- On-site parking, fee: $20/day + tax.
- Off-site parking available for $13/day + tax.
Early bird registration coverage for the lead chapter advisor and division vice president will be managed by a pre-approved list by the division president. Should the lead chapter advisor not be able to attend, the division president must approve any other alumnus on the advising team. This approval will be communicated to the alumnus and Central Office. Those on the pre-approved list will be provided a discount code to enter when registering through myDelt. Registration costs higher than early bird will be covered by the alumnus. ALL cancellations must be confirmed by Lesa Purcell at the Central Office. If you must cancel, email her at email@example.com. Your cancellation is not complete until you receive a confirmation from Lesa. There is a $75 cancellation fee after July 15 for all packages. After July 26 there will be NO cancellations accepted.
For each approved alumni volunteer, half of each hotel night (maximum of four nights) will be reimbursed by the division. Reimbursements are to be submitted to the respective division treasurer after Karnea.
Alumni volunteers are strongly encouraged to make their hotel reservations early and share a hotel room.
Dara Readus at the Central Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) will keep a list of alumni seeking roommates. Please contact Dara if a roommate is needed to help reduce costs.

Do I need proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test?
Yes. As a values-based brotherhood, we have a special responsibility to each other and society. The Fraternity requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test submitted no earlier than 48 hours prior to the start of Karnea. By providing proof of vaccination or negative test, you are helping the Fraternity provide a safe environment for our members, volunteers and staff. After completing your conference registration, you will receive a link with instructions on how to upload your vaccination record card or submit a negative test. The COVID test must be submitted no earlier than August 1. Please note: if you previously provided a vaccination card for a division conference, Catalyst, PresX or any other Fraternity program where vaccination was required, you will not be asked to upload proof of vaccination again.
Those unable to provide either are encouraged to attend a future Fraternity event when COVID-19 is a non-issue.
