Accepting Applications for Service on the Undergraduate Council

Applications are being accepted for four at-large seats on the Fraternity's Undergraduate Council (UGC). The UGC is a committee of the Arch Chapter. As a member of the UGC, you will advise the Arch Chapter on important policy and governance issues. Not only will you attend UGC meetings, but you will participate in other standing committees of the Arch Chapter.

International President Anthony Albanese will make these appointments, and the successful candidates will take office on September 15, 2024.

Eligibility

A candidate must be in good standing with his chapter. For this appointment cycle, the candidate is ideally a current sophomore or junior, as the term for the current opening commences on Sept.15, 2024, and continues until Sept. 15, 2026. To be eligible to serve the entire two-year term, the selected candidates must be enrolled as undergraduates through the fall 2026 academic term.

Application Process

Interested candidates are asked to submit the following:

  • Resume
    • Field of study and current cumulative GPA
    • Career objectives
    • Information about Delt experience, offices held and any leadership experiences such as Ignite or The Charge
    • Other pertinent extracurricular activities in college or high school
    • Notable awards earned while in college or high school
  • A brief written description of why he seeks to serve the Fraternity in this role
  • ·written recommendation from his chapter advisor

Service on the UGC is a special opportunity to serve Delta Tau Delta and engage with undergraduate and alumni brothers from across the country. Inaugurated in 1968 by Supreme Court Justice Tom C. Clark, the Fraternity's 28th president, the UGC plays a valuable advisory role in providing the Arch Chapter a student voice and perspective.
