Pete Lazetich Inducted into Montana Football Hall of Fame

Former All-American defensive tackle Pete Lazetich (Stanford University, 1972) was a charter inductee into the Montana Football Hall of Fame on August 12. While at Stanford, he made 11 tackles in a 1972 Rose Bowl win over Michigan and was drafted in the NFL's second round by the San Diego Chargers. He was with the Chargers in 1972-74 and also played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1967-77. Other charter inductees included his father, Bill Lazetich, who played for the NFL Cleveland Rams in 1939 and 1942, and his uncle, Milan Lazetich, who played for the Cleveland and Los Angeles Rams (1945-50). All three members of the Lazetich family were born in Montana.
