Meet Our People

The Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation is pleased to announce Paul F. Schmidt (Ball State, 1988) as the Director of Major Gifts. A retired Colonel, Schmidt most recently served as the chief of staff to the executive vice president for finance and administration at Indiana University. He retired from the Army as a Colonel in 2018 after serving in a variety of Command and Staff assignments including tours in Germany, South Korea, and several stints in Iraq. Colonel Schmidt holds a bachelor of science degree in public relations from Ball State University, a master of science degree in international relations from Troy University, and a PhD in education with an emphasis in global training and development from North Central University. Paul is married to the former Shelley Sloan and they have four children.
