One of the Longest Running Streaks in the World
Mike Schlater (Kettering University-A, 1990) hasn't missed a day of running since 9/11/2001. In fact, he has only missed eight days of running since 1985 and holds one of the longest-documented running streaks in the world. He ran his 100,000th mile last October. Schlater, who began running in 1981, serves as an assistant coach for cross country and is a school board member at Saint Joseph Academy.
