Making the Most of Long Car Rides

Posted by: Robbie Erickson - November 28, 2013

We have all found ourselves in those long car rides. What do we do? How should we pass the time? Instead of complaining, try one or a few of the following:

  • Books on CD. Take the time to listen to a book you have always wanted to read but never had the time.
  • Catch up with family/friends. Use this extra time to catch up with the people you care about that you have lost touch with.
  • Learn a new language. If you ever wanted to learn a new language, this might be the time you needed to listen and practice whatever language you want.
  • Relax. Take this time to clear your mind and forget about the things that have been bothering you.

The main thing is whatever you choose to do with your time, use it to your advantage. Take this time to check things off your bucket list or better yourself. This is your time and your opportunity to do whatever your heart desires. Be creative and have fun with it; the possibilities are endless of what you can do. It’s your time, and it’s up to you how you want to spend it.
