Longo to Become New Director of Operations and Meetings

As the Fraternity transitions to a new governance model, the Arch Chapter’s increased focus on strategic alignment will require the Central Office to assume more involvement in operational functions. To further that goal Andy Longo has accepted the newly-created position of Director of Operations and Meetings. Longo will transition from programming to focus on chapter shelter enhancement and support, headquarters operations and Fraternity meeting logistics.

As the point of contact for the Fraternity housing program, Longo will be accountable for realizing new loan opportunities to expand and enhance the Fraternity’s housing stock. The Delta Tau Delta Loyalty fund has a record amount of available funds waiting to assist house corporations with ongoing and, in some cases, necessary shelter improvements. In addition to housing, he will assist the business affairs department in the management of operational related issues. These responsibilities include the ongoing support of the Fisher-Nichols Memorial Headquarters and the ever-evolving demand for technology integration. Longo will continue to serve as the primary staff contact for meetings and events focusing on site selection, proposals, logistic requirements and staff preparation for on-site execution.

“Andy has been an important member of the Fraternity staff since 2003 and I am excited to see him adjust to a role which squarely aligns with his natural talent and ability,” said Chief Executive officer Jack Kreman.

Longo will assume his new role immediately.
