Items to Schedule

Officer meetings should be scheduled prior to the start of the visit. In addition, here are other items that should be added to his schedule.

Events/Meetings – Identify any meetings or events that are happening during the visit, make sure the consultant is aware of those and they are added to the schedule. This should include all chapter/colony, executive board, administrative board, new member, and finance board meetings. Also, think about inviting him to the intramural game, philanthropy event, or something else the chapter or colony is participating in.

Presentations – It is suggested the leadership consultant provides a personal development workshop once per year to every chapter or colony. This can be based on life skills, recruitment best practices, the annual risk management presentation or something else relevant to the chapter or colony.

Ritual – It is expected every chapter performs either the Ritual or Rite of Iris once per year for the consultant. This is a great opportunity to receive feedback on how to enhance the ceremony and utilize his knowledge to build a Ritual education program.
