Save the Date - December 3, 2024
Giving Tuesday is celebrated annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a global movement encouraging people to support charitable organizations, and community causes through donations and acts of kindness. The day promotes generosity in response to the consumer-driven events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Nonprofits, businesses, and individuals participate in Giving Tuesday by raising awareness, organizing campaigns, and leveraging social media to inspire giving and volunteerism across communities.

Three ways you can make a difference on Giving Tuesday:

  • Support the Educational Foundation with a Gift to the DeltFund
    • Donations directly fund educational initiatives, leadership development programs, and scholarships that benefit undergraduates. Even small, recurring gifts can add up to create lasting opportunities for current students.
    • First time giving? Consider making a gift of $18.58 in honor of a brother you are thankful for.
  • Spreading Awareness
    • Consider sharing with your chapter brothers and friends how your support through the Educational Foundation empowers young leaders and enhances members' growth.
    • Alumni can help amplify the Foundation's mission by sharing stories on social media and engaging in peer-to-peer fundraising, thus expanding the network of supporters who understand the importance of fraternity-based education and leadership.
  • Volunteering Time or Expertise
    • Alumni can volunteer to serve on committees or as chapter advisors, providing valuable expertise and mentorship that aids in the development of members. Learn more HERE
    • Students can volunteer their time with local non-profits to help make a difference in their community.
