Exceptional coaches have the ability to create powerful connections with those they serve--whether they meet face-to-face everyday or virtually every once in a while. As volunteers and advisors, we can benefit from honing this same skill—especially during a time when meeting face-to-face isn’t an option, such as in the wake of COVID-19. During this session, participants will explore a fresh perspective on the role of the volunteer, explore some of the hurdles that cause many volunteers to stumble and explore a framework for creating stronger connections with our students—or anyone we seek to support, guide, or influence.
