Leadership Experiences Update

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to inform you that the Fraternity will not be hosting Ignite or The Charge this summer. Given the varying travel restrictions across the country, especially in Texas and Chicago where our events are held, the Fraternity is taking this action to ensure the safety of its undergraduates and volunteers.

Delta Tau Delta is committed to the leadership development of the undergraduate members and will continue to update the programs during the summer. The Fraternity plans to host several sessions of Ignite in the fall (safety permitting) and will release the dates and locations of those sessions once we get closer to the fall. Please plan to have your new members and emerging leaders attend those sessions. All updates on Ignite can be found at delts.org/ignite

The Charge will be postponed until summer 2021 due to the availability of Loyola Chicago to accommodate a group like ours for five days in the city. The Charge is the Fraternity’s capstone leadership experience and continues to be a phenomenal investment in brothers as they begin to consider life after their undergraduate careers. If you or a member of your chapter was planning to attend The Charge this summer, please plan to attend in 2021. Upperclassmen and men who have just graduated are welcome to apply. The 2021 dates for The Charge will be posted at delts.org/charge once contracts are secured.

If you would like to nominate a member or new member to attend Ignite or The Charge, please complete our nomination form [insert link]. If you have further questions about our summer leadership experiences, please contact the Fraternity’s Coordinator of Undergraduate Education Jacob Ellis Jacob.Ellis@delts.org.

Best,

Jacob Ellis
Coordinator of Undergraduate Education
