Andrew Britton

Andrew Britton served as division chief operating officer of the Texas Mountain South Division of Bank of Merrill until his retirement in September 2022. During his professional career, Andrew excelled broadly in managing teams, developing talent, strategic planning and execution, and individual sales. In his 17 years in banking, he developed sales and credit teams, led credit underwriting, and expanded multiple markets with commercial banking, treasury, capital markets, and investment banking solutions. Over 19 years in the advisory sector, he partnered with financial advisors to service high-net-worth clients through financial solutions, planning, wealth strategies, and corporate solutions and also coordinated strategy and addressed operational excellence in his role as COO.
Always active in both the professional and civic communities where he lives, his overriding desire is to make a difference in people’s lives. As a young adult, he served four years as treasurer of Delta Alpha Chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Throughout his career, he has been actively associated with over 50 organizations in leadership including Junior Achievement, Rotary, Young Life, March of Dimes, Young Men’s Business League, and Volunteers in Action, among others. During his tenure on various boards, his service included being treasurer of organizations like The 500, Inc., Dallas Heart Ball, DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting Aids), and two separate Episcopal Church vestries. Andrew continues his passion for finance and working with people to meet their retirement and life goals.
