Rolling out the Next Era in Chapter Support

Wednesday, July 29, 2020

Have you experienced a challenge as a leader in the Fraternity and thought to yourself, “I’ve tried everything and I still don’t know what to do” or “If I could just get some help in this area.” Recently the Fraternity has invested in helping provide you these resources with the creation of a member services coordinator team. Let’s say your chapter is coming up on an important semester for recruitment; maybe you’re getting ready to graduate a large senior class. You’ll now have the opportunity to contact the Fraternity’s professional staff to let them know what you need when you need it and they’ll create objectives with you for a visit to your campus to provide the customized support you’re looking for. The national organization needs to add meaning to every interaction it has with its stakeholders. To accomplish this, every face to face action needs to be meaningful, relevant to what its members are experiencing and more than running through a checklist of items. These coordinators will focus on providing that assistance in areas like finances, recruitment, customized volunteer onboarding and officer training and transitions. This session will provide an overview of these new strategies and also discuss how this will also positively impact other areas of the Fraternity’s operations.

Presenter: Vice President of Membership, Doug Russell
