Tools of the Trade: Your Leadership Styles
What’s your own leadership style? Do you find that you are often the one taking charge? Do you operate more on a conceptual/abstract level, or are you precise in your decisions and measurement, focused on the minor details? How do others see your role both in and out of the Fraternity? Getting to Yes
Conflict is inevitable. Conflict is sometimes awkward, and often avoided. But conflict is essential for growth, and can actually be a powerful, catalytic tool for organizational and individual change. This connection will help participants identify some of the different ways that large groups like the Fraternity can make decisions amongst conflict. Smooth Talker
Ever find yourself in one of those really awkward conversational moments? Don’t know what to say, or how to say it? Or does the idea of networking and “small-talk” seem like something that comes easier to others but not you? This module will help participants identify some of the easy tips and secrets that you can use right away to be more at ease in social communication settings. Fair Game
We’ve all heard that it takes a lot of work to “get ahead” in life. But, what if there were other factors to success - beyond hard work? This module will help participants not only reflect on their own formulas to success, but will also give them the chance to identify some of the benefits that they may have had access to. Come to this POWERFUL, 50 minute brotherhood connection to learn more about the different ways that we all experience privilege on different levels.
Your Move
Have you ever had to make an ethical decision and felt conflicted or unsure? How would you choose/act/respond/behave when no one else was looking? This module will help participants not only reflect on their own ethical decision making, but will also leave them with a set of tools that can be used the next time they are in an ethical dilemna to make the wisest choice.
