Major General Perry L. Wiggins

Wiggins currently serves as the Commanding General, First Army Division West, Fort Hood, TX.  First Army is an Active Duty Army organization responsible the training, readiness oversight, and mobilization for all U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard units within the wastern United States.

A Conversation with Kent Hance and Ed Whitacre, Jr.
Delts attending the Lone Star Karnea should look forward to a discussion with Kent Hance and Ed Whitacre, both alumni of Epsilon Delta at Texas Tech University. These two Delts first came together in Lubbock more than 50 years ago as chapter brothers at Epsilon Delta. They continue to be successful career men, as well as friends, well into their 60s.

Hance, former Congressman and current Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System, will host Ed Whitacre, former CEO of both AT&T, and General Motors, as well as a past national president of the Boy Scouts of America. The lives and careers of these two Delts will be an inspiration to all. Hance’s interview of Whitaker promises to be one of the highlightsof the Karnea.  If you’ve not heard Hance speak, you are in for a treat!

Featuring Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott (Gamma Iota, 1980)

Attorney General Greg Abbott was reelected as the 50th Attorney General of Texas on November 2, 2010. Prior to his election, Abbott served as a Justice on the Texas Supreme Court and as a State District Judge in Harris County.
