Lee Grace

Lee Grace’s service in the Fraternity began over 30 years ago upon his initiation at Epsilon Xi and, except for a brief period while attending law school, has continued his service to this day. 

Grace currently serves as a the president of the Southern Division, having been elected to that position at the 2011 Great Southern Division Conference. Prior to his election, he served as a Southern Division Vice President working with the undergraduates and alumni of Delta Epsilon, Epsilon Xi and Zeta Zeta.  He also served as a member of the Fraternity’s Committee on Chapters and Corporate Governance Committee. He has served the Fraternity as the Chair of 2010 Karnea Constitution and Laws Committee, the Chair of the Southern Division’s Committee on Nominations and the Chair of the Southern Division’s Committee on Constitution and Bylaws. Grace is also a member of the Order of the C____, the Bethany Society and the Heritage Society. He has served as a Phonarch, a reviewer of the Fraternity Awards and Accreditation Report, a facilitator at the Southern Division Conference and the Fraternity’s Fisher Conference and a chapter retreat facilitator. Finally, Grace was also one of the founding members of the Epsilon Xi housing corporation, serving as the corporation’s first president. 

As an undergraduate, Grace served Epsilon Xi as president, vice president, treasurer and corresponding secretary, and was a member of the Fraternity’s Undergraduate Council. He also served as the president and academic vice president for Western Kentucky University’s Interfraternity Council. 

Grace’s service to others extends beyond his Fraternity involvement. He currently serves as the president of the Western Kentucky University’s Publications Alumni Association, a member of the WKU Publications Advisory Council, Chair of the Middleton United Methodist Church’s Disciple Committee and a member of the Middletown United Methodist Staff Parish Relations Committee. Grace was the recipient of the WKU Volunteer Service Award and was the recipient of the 2009 WKU Distinguished Service Medal. 

Grace received his B.A. in journalism from Western Kentucky University in 1984 and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Kentucky’s College of Law in 1988. He was a partner in a third-generation law firm in Louisville before he decided to open his own law firm and title company and his law practice focuses on real estate transactions and regulatory compliance issues facing financial institutions. 

Grace lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife Margo.
