Jody Danneman

Jody Danneman was elected to a two-year term as second vice president at the Capital Karnea in 2010.
 
He joined the Arch Chapter in 2002 when he was appointed to fill Alan Brackett's unfinished term as president of the Southern Division. Danneman was subsequently elected to consecutive two-year terms as Southern Division president in 2003 and 2005. During those four years he also served as chairman of the Committee on Chapters. Danneman was elected secretary at the Sesquicentennial Karnea in 2008.
 
Danneman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1988 from the University of Georgia. As an undergraduate, he served as chapter vice president and president. Danneman’s alumni service to the Fraternity includes working on Beta Delta Chapter’s house corporation, 10 years as chapter advisor for Beta Epsilon Chapter at Emory University, and several stints as a division vice president for the Southern Division.
 
Danneman is an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church and serves on his local church’s governing board. He also serves on the communications board of HomeStrech – an organization that helps local homeless families overcome their housing crises and the advisory board to HobNob – a start-up company that assists high-school and college students with career discovery.  Danneman is the Vice Chair of the Grady Society, the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication’s alumni advisory board at the University of Georgia.
 
Danneman has been nominated for several Emmys and has received multiple Telly and Communicator Awards for his professional work. In 2008, he was given the Fraternity’s highest honor when he was cited into the Distinguished Service Chapter.
 
Danneman is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives with his wife Sally and his daughter Marianne. He is the executive producer and president for Atlanta Image Arts, a broadcast television and live-event production company.
