Anthony AlbaneseAnthony Albanese (American University, 1996) was elected Eastern Division President at the 2011 Eastern Division Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to his election as division president, Albanese served as a chapter advisor for six years and as a division vice president for nearly three years. In addition to his service as a chapter advisor and DVP, Albanese has served on two separate housing corporations, as a member of Delta Tau Delta’s Sesquicentennial Commission, and on various Karnea Committees. He has attended six division conferences, five Karneas and two Leadership Academies. As an undergraduate Albanese served as president and vice president of the Theta Epsilon Chapter. He also served as IFC President, IFC Vice President and Greek Week Chairman. Albanese has been recognized for his volunteer service to Delta Tau Delta in numerous ways, including as Theta Epsilon Alumnus of the Year, Eastern Division Chapter Advisor of the Year, Member of the Heritage Society, Member of the Bethany Society, and a recipient of the William J. Fraering Award. Professionally, Albanese is vice president and chief operating officer of Alman Group, LLC, a full-service consulting firm located in Central New Jersey. In this position, Albanese oversees the non-profit fundraising unit of the firm. He also provides assistance to his clients as a lobbyist interfacing with all levels of New Jersey State Government. Prior to his time with the Alman Group, Albanese served in numerous capacities with the New Jersey State Senate, including Field Services Officer, Deputy Director of Constituent Services and Assistant to the Senate President/Acting Governor. He also served as one of the youngest individuals in New Jersey history ever to serve as Chairman of a State Authority; the Lake Hopatcong Commission. Albanese and his wife, Debbie, reside in central New Jersey. |
