PROGRAMMING TRACKS - New for 2012 Conferences
The 2012 division conference programming has changed to fit the needs of our undergraduate members. Programming tracks will allow specific positions more time together to learn essential skills and share best practices. Chapter presidents, recruitment chairmen, treasurers, guides and new member/member educators will each have their own personal track and spend conference time in those sessions. Participants who don’t currently hold one of those positions will participate in the leadership track. This track will include advanced curriculum taught by Phired Up on The Social Excellence Model. Chapters are encouraged to send the five officers that tracks are being offered for and other members that they feel will benefit from the experience. Click here for more information on the programming tracks.
Breakout sessions will be offered in addition to the programming tracks. The breakout sessions will focus on specific topics likes the FAAR, honor board or academic affairs. These sessions have been rewritten and will provide relevant and important information for chapters.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Chapter treasurers must bring THREE checks for the division treasurer to pay for the conference registration, division dues and any obligations to the General Fund (new member fee, initiation fee, insurance). Do not bring a prepared check already written out as amounts might be different than expected.
Western Plains Dues: Dues are $25.00 per undergraduate active, pledge and affiliate member on the rolls as of November 15. Dues are payable to the division treasurer.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The division incurs expense in planning and executing the conference. In particular, meals are ordered and material printed based on the number of undergraduate and
alumni registered for the conference.
In order to keep costs reasonable, chapters will be expected to pay for the number of men registered for the conference as of the registration cut-off date. Men may attend as substitutions for previously registered chapter members; however, the payment for the number of men registered will be expected.
Questions concerning this policy should be directed to the division president.
