With all the great things to do in Spartanburg, it might be hard to decide where to start. Can you see yourself behind the wheel of a BMW Z4 or X5? Tour the BMW Manufacturing plant and the Zentrum museum. Visit the Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport for a bit of aviation history. Relax at an outdoor concert in Barnet Park. Try clay shooting at RiverBend Sportsman’s Resort.
HOTEL INFORMATION
Reservations can be made by calling 864-596-1211 and mentioning "Delta Tau Delta," or by visiting the website (Group Code: DELDELA) The cut-off date is February 7. After the date, the group rate may not be available.
- Room Rate: $99 (up to four individuals per room). Room rates do not include hotel occupancy tax.
- Self parking is available is available in the hotel's parking garage.
- Undergraduates and alumni are responsible for reserving their own rooms.
- The division will reimburse half of the room rate for Division Vice Presidents and one Alumni Advisory Team member per chapter. However if you share a room, with another volunteer, the division will pay the entire room rate. For reimbursement after the conference, contact Southern Division Treasurer Christopher Hyde at christopher@hydecorp.com or (404) 664-2914.
- Arrive Thursday prior to 6:00 p.m. First session begins at 8:00 p.m.
- Depart any time Sunday.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The 2008 Conference is a leadership and educational training session for the Division. Chapter presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, recruitment chairs, risk manager, colony members and new member educators are expected to attend. All brothers are encouraged to attend. Chapter advisors and division vice presidents are asked to attend for the alumni training curriculum. Reminder: Coat and tie is required for the Ritual and awards banquet and a shirt with collar is expected for all conference sessions.
- Registration fee is $130 per person.
- All registrations must be made by February 1, 2008.
- For alumni attending the banquet only, the cost is $40. Please register as Alumni, Banquet Only.
- Undergraduates and alumni participants must register for the conference by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
- The Southern Division Conference will pay registration for one alumnus per division chapter.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Chapter treasurers must bring two checks for the division treasurer to pay for the conference registration and division dues (if dues not previously paid). Do not bring a prepared check already written out as amounts might be different than expected.
Dues are $25.00 per undergraduate active, new member and affiliate member on the rolls as of November 1. Dues are payable on or before February 1 to the Division Treasurer.
