With the same spirit of the pioneers who settled this city and created one of the most dynamic young towns of the early century, today’s Oklahoma City has been reinvented to offer visitors a fun-filled combination of attractions, events, restaurants and amenities. Nowhere will you find a greater concentration of Oklahoma City’s modern-day urban vitality than in Bricktown, an early-day warehouse district transformed in the last decade to become the fastest growing entertainment district in the Southwest. Just east of downtown, the area is home to a mile-long riverwalk-style canal, AAA baseball stadium, shopping and some of the city’s best restaurants and most active night clubs. Bricktown has something for everyone. Bricktown isn’t the only attraction to Downtown Oklahoma City -- the focal point is the futuristic-looking Crystal Bridge, part of the Myriad Gardens Botanical Conservatory.

HOTEL INFORMATION
Reservations can be made by calling the central reservations department at 800-468-3571 and mentioning “Delta Tau Delta” or online at Renaissance OK City Reservations  (Group Code: DLTDLTA).  The cut-off date is February 4, 2008. After that date, the group rate may not be available.

• Room Rate:$129 a night up to four people in a room; room rates do not include hotel occupancy tax.
• Arrive by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First session begins at 8 p.m.
• Depart any time Sunday.
• Undergraduates and alumni are responsible for reserving their own rooms.
• The division will reimburse half of the room rate for Division Vice Presidents and one Alumni Advisory Team member per chapter. However if you share a room, with another volunteer, the division will pay the entire room rate. • Self parking is available at the nearby Cox Convention Center or Santa Fe Garage at a rate of $6-8 per day. Parking fees must be paid in cash. Please plan accordingly.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Who Should Attend: The 2008 Conference is a leadership and educational training session for the Division. Chapter presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, recruitment chairs, risk manager, and pledge educators are expected to attend. All brothers are encouraged to attend. Chapter advisors and division vice presidents are asked to attend for the alumni training curriculum. Register prior to February 1, 2008. Reminder: Coat and tie is required for the Ritual and awards banquet and a shirt with collar is expected for all conference sessions.

• Registration fee is $149.00 per person. 
• Undergraduates and alumni participants must register for the conference by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
• Fees cover conference materials, meals, breaks and the Recognition Banquet.
• The banquet cost is $40 if you are only attending the banquet.
• The Western Plains Division will pay the conference registration fee for alumni.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE
Chapter treasurers must bring two checks for the division treasurer to pay for the conference registration and division dues (if dues not previously paid). Do not bring a prepared check already written out as amounts might be different than expected.

Dues are $20.00 per undergraduate active, pledge and affiliate member on the rolls as of November 1.  Dues are payable on or before February 1 to the Division Treasurer.
