Bill Fraering Award
Criteria
Awarded to younger alumni who have rendered at least three years of outstanding service to Delta Tau Delta including, but not limited to, chapter advisors, alumni chapter presidents, house corporation members and division vice presidents.
- The nominee must be an alumnus for a minimum of three years and not more than 15 years.
- The nominee must have provided extraordinary and outstanding service to the International Fraternity specifically beyond one's own chapter.
- Typically, no more than five awards may be presented in any calendar year. However, under discretionary approval by the Arch Chapter, additional citations may be considered.
- Awards are not restricted to any geographic criteria.
The award was instituted in 1982.
Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted by an undergraduate chapter or by an alumnus in good standing 45 days prior to anticipated presentation. Nominations should be submitted in writing to the committee via the Central Office.
