Division Conferences

2009 Division Conferences

The 2009 Division Conference season kicks-off in Chicago on January 30 and concludes in Arlington, Texas, on March 1. During the month of February students and alumni of Delta Tau Delta will come together in five cities across the United States to celebrate the Fraternity; elect division leaders; learn skills to be a better officer; member and man; and, of course, meet and learn from each other.

As you know from our Ritual, Delta Tau Delta considers herself a unique organization. We were founded on distinctive principles and our members have endeavored to live Lives of Excellence from the beginning. No other campus organization wears our letters; no other organization shares our Ritual.

Based on our core principles, the Fraternity has launched a marketing campaign with focus on five concepts very much aligned to our principles and values.

  • Values-aligned recruitment
  • Social responsibility
  • Community service
  • Life-long involvement
  • The ongoing development of our members

These important concepts create our distinctiveness as Delts. During the conferences these core principles will be integrated into the curriculum and programming.

As Delts, we strive to be our best and do our best. We work hard to introduce new men to our Fraternity family while teaching responsible and ethical behaviors. We provide service to our communities and value-added experiences and opportunities for our members. We educate those who follow. We make a difference.

Chapters are required to be represented at division conferences. For specific attendance requirements, please refer to each division's web page. Division dues and conference fees are due upon arrival. Payment information is available on your division's page.

Dress code for the conferences is business casual. Slacks/khakis and collared shirts are appropriate throughout the conference. Banquets and Ritual are coat and tie. No hats should be worn at anytime during the conference. As Delts, we represent 151 years of excellence, we want to make sure we convey this to all we come into contact with.

As we look ahead for our great Fraternity, we must continue to strive for excellence; we must continue to be Driven to Distinction.
