Continuous Assessment
It is in the best interest of the DAA and the AAC to ensure that brothers are actively pursuing their individual goal. To do this, the DAA can use these resources to analyze their progress.
Mid-Term Grade Report: The DAA can create a mid-term grade report for brothers to fill out and return. Within this report, each brother should fill in the grade they are receiving, or believe they are receiving within reason, to allow the DAA to analyze. The DAA can then hold individual meetings with brothers who are not on track to fulfill their target GPA to discuss the possible causes. This way, it keeps the brothers accountable to their academic accountability to the chapter.
Professor Report Forms: The Beta Eta Chapter at the University of Minnesota has created a quasi-progress report for professor and/or teaching assistants. The form is a basic letter asking professors to make comments about brothers in his or her class. Click here to download the form.
