Christopher Martz
Chris Martz joined the Central Office staff in November 2000 as the director of communications. Chris left the Fraternity in June 2004 for two years to pursue work in other nonprofit organizations. He returned to Delta Tau Delta in June 2006.
A 1994 graduate of Ball State University, Martz spent seven years teaching high school journalism and advising student newspapers and yearbooks. All of the student publications Martz advised won local, state, and national awards including a newspaper Pacemaker, the highest award given by the National High School Press Association. He also taught Indiana's high school journalist of the year.
Martz was initiated into the Fraternity at the 2002 Southern Division Conference as a member of the Beta Psi Chapter at Wabash College.
Martz is currently working on a master’s of public relations degree at Ball State. He spends most of his spare time with friends and his three-legged dog, Dreifus, who has appeared on “World's Funniest Videos” and Animal Planet's “America's Funniest Animals” for attacking a life-sized cardboard cutout of Former President Bill Clinton.
Martz is originally from Huntington, Indiana, and has resided in Indianapolis since 1995.
Martz serves as the editor of The Rainbow, The Arch of Promise, and prepares the press releases distributed by the Central Office. He works on various projects in all aspects of Fraternity programming and marketing.
