Andy Longo

Andy Longo joined the staff of Delta Tau Delta in 2003 as the director of residential life. He is charged with: partnering with undergraduate chapters, house corporation boards and our insurance carrier to promulgate best practices and to work diligently in the reduction of property claims; creating initial contacts and following leads with house corporations who have the interest, need and capacity to take on new financing via the Loyalty Fund and Centennial Fund; working directly with house corporation personnel on site and at regional/national gatherings to provide training and support for those key grass roots volunteers on the various facets of chapter house operations and strategic planning.

A native of Springfield, Ohio, Longo received his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Bowling Green State University and taught middle and high school social studies for four years in New Carlisle, Ohio. He also holds master’s degrees in college student personnel and guidance counseling from Bowling Green State University.

Longo has served the Association of Fraternity Advisers as executive vice president and as the national conference coordinator. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, Kiwanis International and a former first lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve Military Police Corps. Longo and his wife, Lisa, are the parents of twins, Emma and Michael.
