Standards and Best Practices

At its June 2007 meeting the Arch Chapter unanimously adopted these Housing Standards and Best Practice documents:

1. Minimum Facility Standards for House Corporations
2. Best Practices for Property Maintenance
3. Minimum Standards for House Corporations
4. Best Practices for House Corporations
5. Fire Safety Policy

In doing so the Arch Chapter has formally communicated its desire for excellence in Delt housing.  These standards are for each house corporation to use as guidelines in providing quality Delt housing that the entire fraternity would be proud to have displaying Delt letters. The NHC, Arch Chapter and many housing volunteers in our Fraternity firmly believe that Delt housing should be safe and conducive to positive Delt and academic experiences.  We hope that these guidelines are a beginning to raise the housing standard for all.

The Arch Chapter created the National Housing Committee (NHC) in August of 2005 with the purpose to advise the Arch Chapter on Delt housing and how best to improve quality of Delt residential life.  The NHC was created as an ongoing committee with a continuing purpose to advise and implement Delt housing strategies.   For more information please contact Director of Residential Life Andy Longo at andy.longo@delts.net.
